The Story Behind Dungeon Days

Dungeon Days began in the city of Bristol. Two local friends, Ted Sherman and Marcus Kielly, created Stilton the Scribe and a host of weird and wonderful characters who now fill the Dungeon.

The stories started taking shape back in 2016. Ted and Marcus decided to share them with the world. They hung the stories in Nightingale Valley Woods so people could enjoy something funny and magical on their daily walk. The idea was such a hit that it was featured on BBC Radio Bristol and even led to podcast appearances!

After lockdown, the pair continued to write new stories, grow their cast of characters, and bring together their first book. When they were invited to join the Made in Bristol Christmas Gift Fair, it became the perfect moment to launch it. Inside the book, you’ll discover Stilton the Scribe’s laugh- out-loud (and sometimes really gross!) tales about the creatures he meets while working in the Dungeon.

There are many more stories and characters in the Dungeon Days universe, and we look forward to sharing more with you!
