to keep the diaries filled
to note the times when creatures join
and the times they're killed.
I'll chronicle this dungeon
I'll capture every thing
each drip, each snore, each hiccup
each tooth and claw and wing
This place is full of creatures
from gigantic down to small
and through these words I've written
you'll get to meet them all.
You'll learn about what brings them joy
and what brings them pain.
You'll hear about adventures
and witness the mundane
